Colledge Machine was founded in 1982 by Joe Colledge—a skilled machinist, a devoted husband to Jackie, a proud father and grandfather, and a pillar of the Utah industrial community. Joe built his reputation the old-fashioned way: with integrity, grit, and a deep commitment to his customers.

Over the decades, he formed long-lasting relationships with businesses across the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County by delivering precision machining, dependable repairs, and honest service.

Joe wasn't just a businessman—he was a teacher. From a young age, his son Matt was by his side in the shop, learning the trade the same way many do in a family business: standing on a milk crate, watching, listening, and doing. Joe passed on more than technical skills—he passed on work ethic, creativity, and a standard of excellence that still defines the shop today.

Today, Colledge Machine continues to operate under the leadership of his son Matt, who brings not only decades of hands-on machine experience but also a sharp engineering mind and deep passion for automation and industrial design.
